Nice to meet you.

Hi, I’m Leilani.

I created Notes From Leilani as a space to document a slower, more intentional approach to life through reflection, storytelling, travel, growth, health, and reinvention.

For much of my life, I focused heavily on achievement, structure, and survival. Over time, I began questioning what it actually means to build a life that feels sustainable, meaningful, and aligned rather than simply productive.

This space grew out of that shift.

Here, I share reflections on personal growth, rebuilding after adversity, emotional health, intentional living, and the ongoing process of creating a life that feels more honest and grounded. Some of these notes come from everyday moments, some from travel and new experiences, and others from navigating change, identity, ambition, burnout, and healing.

Professionally, my background is in legal operations and trust & estates litigation, and I am also pursuing graduate studies in counseling psychology and organizational psychology with a growing interest in organizational health, burnout prevention, sustainable work cultures, and the ways people rebuild themselves after difficult experiences.

I do not have life fully figured out, and this space is not meant to present perfection. It is simply a place to document the process of learning how to live more intentionally, more thoughtfully, and more fully.

Thanks for being here.
